What color?

What color looks good on these old cars?

White, Black, Red, Blue, Gold, Silver.

Silver w/ red interior is hot.

What no GREEN ?

I like Medium Turquoise Metallic on mid-'60's B-Bodies.

I like the stock white colors on1962 to 1965 B bodies race cars, easy to keep decent looking

Pastel green non metallic looks good on 62-65. IMHO better on the 62-63 cars.

Not a fan of gold on them. Just me maybe.


Basically , if you have ever seen a kitchen appliance that color, it would also look good on a 62-65 post car.

I'm sure someone has painted one of those cars Sublime. As much as I like the color I don't think I could do it.

A nice dark green, or pastel green I could live with.

This with a turquoise interior...

^^^ Oh heck yeah: my favorite is Code L Turquoise paint w/turquoise interior.
Close 2nd, E Dark Metallic Blue with blue.
Also like C light blue with blue interior.
Black with red or blue also looks sharp.
I could live with that '62 Savoy...

White or Red exteriors are pretty common, but fine.
Not a high impact fan on years it wasn't available, myself.
But oddly, I like some of the current industrial-looking blues & greys; probably because they're rather understated.
And those really look good with polished or plated wheels.

any color except the "high impact" ones.
62, 63, and 64's are my most favorite cars out there. i still think of them as "new".
if i didn't already have my charger [for all these years], i would have a 62 dart post.
