Old magazine

Picked this up at a flee mkt today.Don't know much about it.Anyone familiar with this Mag.Really cool.

One of many magazine titles that was a casualty of the big magazine company take overs a couple years ago. The last several years of its existence it covered a lot of "Traditional 50s/60s Hot Rods and Rat Rod" type of cars.

I believe that mag is from the 50's, August of 53 to be exact. LINKY TO COVERS OF OLD HOP UP MAG
I was surprised to see it was back in publication though WOW!! Don't know if it still is but they have a website and FB page

IIRC, Hop Up became Car Craft.

Hop Up became Motor Life i believe and Honk became Car craft.

Be interesting to read the Desoto V8 into a Plymouth article.
