Ha Ha, Maybe the plane on the plate has been retrofitted with a reverse!!

Obviously it was proofed by someone who NEVER actually saw or knew the direction that the plane actually flew.

They based their idea of how it would fly based on what they assumed was the tail which it wasn't (like on a modern airplane where the tail is in the rear).

You had already explained that part in your post by your own pic, unless the first flight was a hold my beer while I fly for the first time in reverse.

I can see how most graphic artists would make that mistake. A person would have to know something about early airplanes to know that what looks like a tail is actually the front of that particular airplane.

I know too, and missed the h*ll out of it. That's why I made my second post, embarrassed.

I DO like the design intent though (and Ohio)

I don't know why Ohio has decided to do these plates with the imagery on them. They're horrible. Give me a plain plate in one color with just the letters/numbers.
