Damn right that Americans should protest the lack of “wry & dry humor” now days !
The idea of plastic body panels being used on the lowermost sections of pickup trucks
sounds good to me.
If one of the automotive aftermarket metal body parts companies
offered panels with cutouts for a plastic insert at the “known rust prone spots”
I certainly would consider buying them.
