Chrysler/Mopar/whatever is really only interested in selling new cars. Anything they do for their heritage or racers is the bare minimum, been that way for decades. That's one reason the Chevy guys have everything so much easier.

Unless you want to reproduce something and then they are consumed with interest.

It may well be because of the low number of vehicles available. I drove past the Belvidere Jeep assembly plant on Sat, the new Jeep inventory lots are pretty empty, I'd be surprised if there was 1,000 new Jeeps sitting on the assembly plant lots ready to ship, total.
Not much sense dropping a pile of money advertising vehicles you do not have available to sell. Almost all of the new car dealerships of all the makes have pretty vacant inventory lots around here. A lot of the used car lots have a lot of available space as well.
For an industry that has in the not so distant past had huge numbers of overstock, a lack of available inventory must really be a shock! Gene

Not good when a company keeps being sold off...plus FIAT has pretty much told the MoPar crowd to get with the new program or get lost, so it's a no for me as well...UNLESS they go retro with the Charger and make it look like a '68 (and make it a 2-door, please).

They never were canceling anything due to Covid as far as I know. They were at Moparty in Kentucky last September and I went on their thrill ride at the Mecum auction in Indianapolis in May, and I’m sure those weren’t the only events they’ve been at over the last year. I wasn’t there but I think I even recall seeing a video of someone taking a thrill ride at Carlisle last year.

Same here, went window shopping for a new truck yesterday at 3 lots and all they had were mostly V6 half tons and ultra loaded Limiteds…prices jumped from the 30s to the 80s
