We had one hanging on the wall by our front door in broad daylight. Called the local Humane society and they came right out and collected it. It was still alive and likely rabid or sick. Do be careful handling, or disposing of it if its expired.

If ya want fun, try a couple field mice in the house with a beagle and 3 cats. Skipping ahead, one of the cats is a pretty good mouser except for the part where she won't give up her new toy and runs the other way with it.

As kids, when bats were hitting the bugs around street lights, we would throw rocks up by the lights and watch the bats chase them towards the ground. Huge fun that we would do till we couldn't throw anymore. No bats were hurt but I bet they were disappointed when they realized that the rock wasn't a great big juicy bug.

I've had a few out at my property. It's a bit nerve racking when you open a sliding door and have one fly down at you. I had another once that got disturbed during the day and flew to the first dark spot it found- under the open hood of my car!! I tried to scare it off but it dove further in. That must have been one hot, scary ride for it.

My dog found one out in the middle of the yard the other day. He was still alive so I picked him up and put him in the bat house at the back of my property. He climbed right in. KID

I didn't touch it. I picked it up with a shovel and buried it.
