Curious if anyone else has been getting "signed" FedEx packages and the receivers sig just says "covid"

Im buddies with the FedEx guys here in town, My dealer fixes all their rigs, I asked him and his reply is that the delivery guy can sign Your name as Covid as a way to deliver without anyone home..

I have all of my FedEx and UPS packages sent to my post office, the manager doesn't mind as I've had a box rental there for 35 years.

For the cost of a P.O. Box, it's cheap insurance. Delivery and pick up is warm and dry too.

Who in Chicago sells tires online? Tire Rack is nearby, but in South Bend, Indiana.

These were used tires ... 255 instead of the 245s.

I decided to keep my Scatty dead stock so I sold them ...

Made a quick Grant and Hamilton on the sale !

I think it varies by region and the subcontractors that do the ground/home delivery.

I have had no problems at all with FedEx air or ground.

Very good service from UPS and USPS for that matter also.

I certainly know however that is not everyone's experience.

Like I said I have had good service, so far from all the shippers.

However I saw this on Facebook and thought it was funny:

i was surprised fedx delivered a package for my wife yesterday ! i watched as the young man placed it gently against the side of the front door.
i came out of the garage and said thank you as he was heading back to the truck, and he turned around and was going to go back and get the package to hand to me.
i told him he didn't need to do that and wished him a merry christmas.
he seemed like a caring employee. i don't know how long that will last, but i appreciated his demeanor.

Fed-Ex is totally out of control..
We are tracking various Fed-Ex shipments to our clients and the tracking info is total BS and unreliable...
Previously we have used Fed-Ex extensively without issues but not anymore going forward we will be making changes...
Total chaos...

Just my $0.02... wink
