Roadrunner made it to it's new nest - 10/19/20 03:44 PM

My newly acquired 72 Petty Blue Roadrunner made it yesterday from it's long journey from PA to Houston TX safe and sound. I want to give a huge thank you to Harold aka 72 RR DUDE and his lovely wife Cynthia for making this a great experience. I was lucky enough to get everything planned and timed to where I drove the car onto the trailer in PA and I unloaded it here at my house.

I have been watching this car for the better part of a year and can't believe it's actually in my garage, Harold you've done a great job with it and I am grateful to take it over for its next chapter of life.

Nice-looking car. IIRC, it had been for sale for quite some time ?
The '72s look better to me than '71s: cleaner design details.

Thanks, yes it had been up for a while. I agree on the 71 vs 72 the only thing that wins on the 71 is the side markers, everything else I prefer the 72.

Joey I thank you for all the kind words and i know that you will enjoy it and take good care of it. You and your dad are the nicest guys that anybody could meet. Can't wait till you guy's come back to Pa. with your families. I was so thankful that you liked the wheels because some people didn't care for the look. Thanks Again Harold

Congrats on the new ride. I've like this body style for many years. I prefer this over the 71-72 Chargers for some odd reason especially the 71s.
