I've always liked the look. Mostly. Some of them are a bit too post-apocalyptic, but many are tied together on a theme with little details that are very imaginative.
Doesn't mean I'd want to risk my life in one, though.

That's a fairly popular movement around where I live.
Some of them are pretty cool, with amusing and clever touches.
A few are not engineered well at all, or are downright dangerous.
To me, the central issue with the rat-rod deal: some guys don't appear to know what they're doing.
