I follow them on Facebook - so cool! I have to stay there soon. I want to hang in the pool and watch the planes take off boogie

He's complaining about $251 for an upgraded room - he obviously has no idea of the cost of regular hotel rooms in the area. laugh2

Agreed, he was apparently expecting a 4 star room facing the runway.

They do a variety of day stays too which is really cool if you have a long layover. Doubt the Hampton Inn does that. laugh2

The guy does seem to whine a bit, doesn't he?
I do somewhat agree about the breakfast. If you are travelling, 8 am is kind of late to open. Tends to make it seem like the museum aspect is the main target for them.

Living 20 miles from there I have been flying out of JFK for 50 years eek I do remember when that was the only terminal there. up

Perhaps he was expecting 1962 prices? laugh2

He did seem a little overly negative about it, but perhaps not out of line with many people today who seem to be super finicky about things that don't really matter.

I would expect one to understand that, in a place like this - a 1962 vintage terminal, it might not be the same as the Hampton Inn that he seems to find so delightful... rolleyes

Definitely will plan to stay there when/if I fly into JFK someday. Gots to have a drink whilst on the Connie! thumbs
