No, if it's in your own barn it's barn storage.

iagree

Unless you just bought it out of someone else's barn it's not a barn find.

Barn find is the most overused tern in the car hobby today. no

People are throwing dirt over their cars at car shows to keep the dirt patina and calling them barn finds when they've owned the car for years already.

I get that people with totally detailed out show cars worry when it rains, but the ones the freak out because the rain might wash off some of the patina dirt are hilarious. laugh2

A neglected car...is just a neglected car.
I think it's cool to find a hidden one, and a noble effort to return it to its original glory.
But I've always thought that a ratty car doesn't reflect well on its owner.
I'm not bothered by some wear & tear from use, but I don't understand the appeal of grime & filth.

I think it's time to eliminate the term "barn find" from the hobby. It has been misused so many times (usually by sellers who want to apply some mystique to their project car they are selling), it is now meaningless.

I believe so ALSO
Its not like the cars have been found and were lost. Someone owned them and had them stored and knew they had them. How were they Lost to be found...
