1970 Super Bee bulge hood drains.... color?

Thanks Ed, I see so few of them! I like you hate when the inserts are painted black. I have seen two different ways to route the drains....

One is let them go straight out over each side of the engine, the other is to route them into the hood grooves itself which I think would make the hood rust from the inside out......

This Pink car shows them... about the best picture I could find.....
