68 Bee inner/outer wheel tubs same for 2/4 door? - 11/13/11 07:13 PM

Looking inside the trunk, are the 2 parts that make up the wheel tub the same on 2 door and 4 door cars?

Anything different in 69 from 68?

Thanks!!

A quick look in the parts catalog tells me the inner are the same, while the outer will be different. 68-69 should be the same. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

I don't know if it covers all B-body or if there is a difference between Dodge and Plymouth. I reversed a Mini-tub job on my 68 Road Runner a few years ago and the donor inners were from a 68 4 door Satellite and they worked perfectly - even the bracket to the trunk support lined up exact. I even discovered that the frame section I had to splice in must have been made on the same machine since all the small ripples around the curved section matched exact as well. In the picture you can tell that the donor car was green - aren't they all...
