JA5 is a rare 73 only color. Hopefully he isn't thinking about changing it.

Seems like there one in that color up around Rudd,IA that ended up on its top 20-25 years ago, maybe with a black vinyl top, then sat outside a barn on US Hwy 18 for a few years until it was gone one day.

Familiar with that one by chance?

Someone else told me about that car I think. The one pictured in my posts was bought new by my dad. I've only seen a handful of cars painted that color.

It was pretty beat up, front of the roof down to the dash, pillars collapsed. Sat out for another 3-4 years until it was gone.

Do you have a time frame to get yours on the road? It is a great color.

The brake/fuel lines and gas tank should be installed in a couple weeks. My new Accurate Exhaust system is supposed to be here today. I want to redo the rear end and front suspension since I'm not happy with how they turned out. Hopefully I can get those done this winter so they can be installed next summer. I still need to have the bumpers rechromed, carb and alt rebuilt. It will most likely be 2013 until the last odds and ends are done. I'm in no hurry.

The dealership dad bought the car from is still around. Hopefully I can get some pictures of dad and the original salesman next to the car.
