Challenger Grill Restoration - 09/11/11 10:03 PM

Reading throught some of the forums, I still have some questions concerning grill restoration for a non rt/ta 70 Challenger.
1. The argent paint seems darker than the light argent paint used on rally wheels for year 1970. The grill paint is the same correct?? If not what paint should I be using?? Can I just mask and spray over the existing argent paint? It's in above average condition but has some minor imperfections.
2. Any ideas how to spruce up the honeycomb section without dismantling the entire grill? One member suggested using acid based a/c coil cleaner but upon checking at Home Depot all of the coil clearners were non acid based. I liked this option because he stated you just sprayed the cleaner on that section of the grill and then just hosed it off.
I can't afford a $500+ professional grill restoration so I'm open to all suggestions.
Thanks.

When I did the grille in my former 70 challenger 340
I used the argent paint from Frank Badalson, problem is I don't remember for sure but I think I used the 70 cuda shaker bubble paint. ( must find old can around here somewhere)

Which ever one it was I had to tint it ever so slightly to make it match the original point on my grille

egg crate portion I used a flat dark grey rattle can paint
