Trans VIN numbers

I remember seeing a post some time ago that had provisions for listing VINs of engines or trans so that, while remote, they may be reunited with their original cars. I am starting the liquidation process and have 13 4 speeds that were inventoried and would like to list the number that were legible before they go to the swap meet.
