best oem style hood pad

are the molded hood pads sold through legendary (REM) close to the originals? or is there a better alternative? I got mine and see its got REM embosed on the backside.. not too fond of that, also, car is a 71 roadrunner. thanks!

What kind of car? I know there's an issue with six -pack e-body pads from REM being thicker than original and wearing through the paint on the air cleaner.
