Fuel Filter

I have 2 with P/N 2084467 on them one has blue text the other has black both say mopar on them.Anyone more correct then the other for a 70 Cuda?

Blue - It probably has a 4-digit date code on it as well.

The black one is in a box dated 1972 and has 1420 on the filter.The blue one is in a bag with no date and has 1210 on the filter.Is the 4 digited number the date code?

I thought the black ones were much later than 1972. The "1972" date on the bag may refer to the mopar trademark? I'd say the blue one's date is 121st day of 1970. Not sure on the black one. Maybe 1980 or 1990?

Maybe someone smarter than me can give you a definite answer.
