Anyone used these? How do they look? Any squeeking issues?

I bought a Cuda that has one, no squeeks or rattles. It makes a decent appearing temporary coverup. I will eventually replace it and get the original redone. If you are looking for it, yes, it is obvious, but only one out of several Mopar friends noticed without me pointing it out. I don't know who made mine.

I recently installed a 71-74 dash cap. If you take your time, they fit well and are a great alternative. The grain is different than original but if you are OK with that, it does look good installed. Only E body people will pick up on it.
I found to get it to fit really well I skinned off all the original vinyl with a knifeand used urethane to bond it to the original foam.

I think this is the key.

I saw a few yesterday at a car show and they looked awful. The accual cap looked decent. The installation is what looked bad. The area right around the VIN tag didn't match up on the ones I saw. Maybe if more time was taken on the install...
