Clutch disc diameter for Big Block. - 06/04/11 03:38 AM

What would the correct clutch disc diameter be for a 143 tooth flywheel used on a 383? I want to score a centerforce assy. for my car. The pressure plate shows just one application but the disc shows two applications for a big block. 10.5 and 11.0. Which is correct and why would there be two applications. I recall running into a similar situation many years ago but forget the details?

Also, where is the best place to get centerforce equipment at a good price?

143 tooth wheel uses an 11" clutch , make sure it's NOt a 10.95 which is a scalloped PP for the 10.5 hat pattern

Charlie-

Here is the Centerforce package you would use:

McCleod performance diaphragm package similar to Centerforce, but is a scalloped pressure plate which allows the larger 11.95 disc on the 143 tooth flywheel:

Both packages are in stock, ready to ship
