Clutch Rod, Z-bar, and Fork color

Can someone tell me what these are suppose to look like color wise? Were they painted?

All 3 are clear zinc (silver). the spring clip on the Z bar is Zinc-dich (gold). The washer on the adjustment rod is black phosphate.
