'68/'69 Tire mfg Date Decode info, can't find in search - 04/06/11 05:51 AM

I thought there was a thread at one time with a lot of tire date code info in it, I did a search several ways and can't find anything. Anyone know the thread and where to find it. Trying to decode a '68/69 Goodyear F70-14 red line tire with date code TN03H36 Thanks. I did a search on Bing/google and all I get is Corvette and bowtie sites and no one posts a chart or method how to decode on your own, only the local chebbie tire guru knows the answer......

Bill,

T = 1968
N = June
0 = ?
3 = JAC (Plant)
H = ?
3 = ?
6 = ?

But that is exactly what I needed to know just the year and month of manufacture. This tire will do for my '69 GTX with a SPD of C16 or Dec. 16, 1968. The wheel is an Aug 28, 1968 wheel and came out of a '69 Road Runner.

THANKS AGAIN Bill (Saved the document too )
