hemi master cylinders( what i have found)

all print matter says 1970 b body hemi cars used the 3" wide low profile
super rare casting 2229191
it seems that a high percent of plymouth did change to the super rare
2229191 casting.........but.....a large percentage of dodge...continued
to use the old 2225621...i believe until they were used up
this explains why the fresh air ramcharger units on the 70 dodge all had hemi master cyl depression boots... that i made .....to accomodate the tall master 2225621
they are not required with the 9191....this is a sum of all i have seen

From what I have seen and researched, all Hemi air grabbers had the "boot" regardless of disk brakes or drum brakes.

I'm glad you posted this because of the confusion surronding these. I too have found exactly what you stated, confirmed by date codes and paint patterns on boosters & the securing nuts. What Chrysler was supposed to do, and what they actually did, was 2 very different things!

SINCE I RESTORE MORE HEMI UNITS THAN ANYONE...FOR AWHILE I WAS PUZZLED
BUT REALITY,SEEMS TO INDICATE THAT EARLY HEMI CARS WITH DRUM BRAKES... HAD THE HEMI BOOT...BUT LATER DID NOT ....THEY WERE NOT NEEDED(SHORT MASTER)...AND...
THE UNITS WITHOUT BOOT WERE MUCH CHEAPER..AND..THE HEMI UNITS WERE A VERY LOW PRODUCTION QUANTITY, I THINK AS THEY STARTED TO USE THEM UP..THEY ONLY PUT EM ON (MUST HAVE CARS)( DISC)....EARLY CARS HAD BOOT( ALL HEMI AS YOU SAID)..THEN AS THE HEMY UNITS GOT DEPLETED THEY USED REG UNIT,,,,THATS A START
