Getting ready to place an order - 03/01/11 10:24 PM

Soooo, what's the concesus regarding Jim's Auto Parts? I'm getting ready to order the gasket for the front window on the '69 Belvedere since Year One is telling me they are on back order. Any other vendors I should look into before placing my order?

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated!

Hello, Call Steele Rubber Reproductions in North Carolina, I think the city is Denver. They make their own rubber in house, and in the USA. I've got it on some car's that we own, and it's been there for over 30 years. I will tell ya this company's rubber fit's like a glove. You can google their info to get ya a phone number. If I find the number I'll post it. Good Luck.

If Jim's has the part you need, use them. They are not considered the greatest from a customer service and support standpoint and there website is not particularly user friendly but I have ordered parts from Jim's and received them in a reasonable amount of time. In this case, it does not appear you have the luxury to shop around.
