Do you mean these things?
Thread Cutting Nuts thread The box I bought is for a 3/16" post (stud) - wrench size is 3/8".
If you want to see if they will work for what you need, PM me and I'll send you some.

Thanks for the offer. I need the next size smaller. wrench size is 5/16. I believe these thread cutting nuts are 8-32 size.
