Did 68 coronet 383 4spd cars have reverse light on dash ? if so, any pix?...thanks
Quote:Not saying it's not possible but all hust cars were to have the light. What plant was it built at and are you sure that's how it came?
My march built hurst 68rr has no rev light

yup, that was me, sold that car and bought a purple SuperBee, just sold that this year at the Nats and I'm looking for another 4spd, perhaps 69 Roadrunner, nice that you remembered the car

St. Louis, build date of 3/7/68, looks to be original dash, tag calls for a tach and has the tach in it with a date on the tach of if i remember 1/68 or so. no hole in the dash/ no patch. Has the correct early temp gauge.
Quote:That was just as the hurst shifter made there way in 68 and makes more sence than a March built car missing the light.
My January built Coronet R/T has no light and hurst shifter

Correct early temp gauge? It sounds like your car got a entire earlier dash set up installed when built. The long range temp. gauge was for the most part a early thing and your car is a later production car.
What color dash do you have and what style ash tray, slider or flip out do you have? What hood do you have, early or late style?
