Challenger rear interior panel question "?"

Challenger rear interior panel question "?" - 10/06/10 06:28 PM

I have a black rear interior panel with part# 2879614 & 93066 on it. Is this correct for Challenger? 1970-71 ? Window crank hole does not seem to "line-up" correctly? Any help very much appreciated

I can't help you with the part number portion of your question, but from my experience, all Challenger rear trim panels will interchange, fitment-wise, from year to year. There are some variations, such as some had ashtrays, or a cut-out slot for the shoulder belts on a 74. I know of no difference in window crank positions.

The only difference that I am aware of fitment-wise, is there were 2 variations on the screw holes. It was either different position of a couple of holes, or a different number of holes.
Hope this helps you...

They kinda fit like that. Put the black washer on and then the window crank and you should be fine. Make sure the panel is sitting in all the way at the jamb, also be sure the tabs at the top back side of the panel are fallin on the right location on the car's sheetmetal structure.
