Thanks for the plug Alan! Either way, ECS sells the floor mats. They are not as wrinkled (like that picture) when we ship them to the "re-sellers" however. List price $18.

From that same ebay seller;

Note the VIN tag mostly obscured behind the broadcast sheet;

Title tucked behind this one;

Another VIN tag peaking out behind this one;

Re: paper floor mats - 10/04/10 03:55 AM

As far as original ones I have are the thin paper "Chrysler Service" mats with 2 footprints on them when you brought your car in for service or an oil change. The most durable oiginal ones I have are the "Top Quality used cars" that were a thick paper formed texture that were ment for multiple used car prospects to put their feet on. Original ones tend to have a yellowing of age.

Re: paper floor mats - 10/04/10 12:55 PM

I bought three sets from Sylvain back in 2004. They weren't wrinkled up when I got mine...

I guess I didn't know ECS had them back then...Oh well...next time.

Ive got a pair or original mats that arent thin paper at all, theyre more like a thin cardboard with an eggcrate effect.

dont have any pics now but maybe I can grab some if anyone is interested.

Thanks for referencing that time frame (2004) Alan. I checked our records and this person may not have received those from our Company! Since I am the only firm licensed to reproduce them I made it a point to contact Chrysler this morning and confirm that my exclusive status had not changed. Well guess what Alan! This guy has been bootlegging them without the approval of Chrysler! I can't thank you enough for helping expose another illegal seller to the industry. I forwarded the ebay link and they will handle the situation appropriately. I hope he wasn't a friend of yours Alan. He may not appreciate the type of referrals you so GALLANTLY provide!

He's outside the US I'm sure that is part of the reason he has been able to keep doing the things he does .

That might be why, but I'm sure copyrights are strongly enforced in Canada. Plus eBay frowns on such things.
