Valiant V100 1965 Tail Lights?

Valiant V100 1965 Tail Lights? - 09/07/10 12:22 AM

I am trying to source either a reproduction, NOS or secondhand set of lenses or complete tail light assemblies for the vehicle shown on the right, (I believe it is a 1965 Valiant V100 Station wagon in the USA). At the moment, I have a badly cracked Right Hand Rear lense (Passenger side on US based model) that I need an urgent replacement for.

Any leads would be appreciated! I have posted this in the question and answer with little success.

Thanks in Advance

Here in the states, '65 Valiants used the style pictured on the wagon on the left in your picture. A '65 Dodge Dart wagon would have a round tail lense (If memory serves me correctly) closer to what you are looking for, but they did not have orange lenses. Good Luck, you have a tough search going here.

My memory didn't serve me correct.
1965 Dart wagon tail lights were not round. But 1964 Dart wagon tail lights were round, but still not like the ones you seek.

My memory is much worse than I thought! Forget everything I said except the US lenses were not orange, and Good Luck with your search. Google tells me I should shut up now!

Hard to tell but the round lens looks the same as the 64-65 Barracuda and Valiant. NOS versions of that one can be found on Ebay if it's the same.
