How do you get the medal pivot off of the bottom of the vent window on a 67 Plymouth 2-door hard top.

Not sure exactly what part you are referring to - a pic would help!

If you mean the metal frame from the Chrome frame, it needs to be ground off, the factory swedged them on.

If you mean the vent window lower frame that pivots - you need to drive out the pin.

Vent windows are a pain to restore, no doubt!

Thanks for the reply: I mean the small medal piece that the vent glass sets in that locks the vent window and lets it pivot in and out. I have it off the frame is it glued or does it slide out?

The glass is held to the chrome piece with window setting tape. I took mine off to get them re-chromed, but I can't remember how I did it, LOL. I kinda remember prying it off the glass with a screwdriver. Be very careful as to not chip the glass if you do that. When you get ready to put them back together, you'll need this: http://restorick.com/proddetail.asp?prod=GlassTape
