I have these in spots all over the car - in the doors, door jambs, front fenders, trunk - they were put in after rustproofing at the dealership-(I'm pretty sure) saw an article in MCG years ago on it - still have it somewhere - but I'm sure these will break- or at least some will when I redo the car - does anyone have any idea where I can get new ones/or maybe someone has a stash

if youre "redoing" the car why are you putting them back in? shouldnt you be filling the holes?

I'd think that the car would me more correct as being it was done at the dealer before delivery to the first owner other than the way it left the line - at least in this case - but only 1 person in the 16 years I've owned the car has ever asked " Hey, what's that thing? " Then again, I can't document when the car was "drilled and filled" , for the first owner or a few years later, they're there now and I didn't do it, so there they stay

Yeah, the factory didnt do that!!!!! What are you trying to destroy your car???? Are you going for Gold or Concourse??? Or as it left the dealership out east or what????? Oh, I'm sorry, it's your car so do as you see fit and advise everyone else to mind their business!!!!!!! Maybe after that was done you got a free T Shirt, who knows??

Guess you could've gotten a t-shirt after dropping some coin as a promo and a thank you for buying their product, right ? Never saw one with this logo though, not like YO, Legendary, or some others

If you want to keep the holes and plugs, see if you can just buy some from that Tuff place. If not, maybe there is a local Zbart dealer who could give you some? But, if you are gonna "redo" the car, why not fill the holes? Or do you want to maintain the ability to add the rustproofing chemicals for continued protection? Me... I would fill them.

I like your idea of doing the Z plugs as it gives your car distinction and characteristic. Was that done at the dealer or, privately by the new owner?? Keep 'em is my vote. Oh and Limeliteaero, stop worrying about my panties will you. Whaddya some kinda freak??

Back in the 80's I use to see them on a regular basis. Usually rustproofing was done as part of a package at the time of car sale.

People use to joke that the really sleezy salesmen would sell zbarting on the fieros.
