new hood pads

We are thinking of making hood pads from a different material other than a fiberglass base that will be a lot more sturdy. So far all we have is an E body prototype made. I am just looking to see if there will be a market for these or will I just be making them for my customers.Let me know what you guys think.These also have more heat resistance than the other re-pops.

There are some on the market and one that actually is molded like original , not flat like the one you have pictured .

i sell the molded hood pads also. not all cars had molded hood pads, some had flat pads also. i am wanting something that will hold up better than the fiberglass based pads.
