how does the throttle cable remove from the pedal and out of the firewall? got a new one and need to change them...thanks

Should be held on with a large metal clip like the clip that holds brake hose to body.

Heard it called a horse shoe or U clip

thanks...went out and got it changed. i saw the clip then figured out there was a little plug to take out of bracket to get the cable end loose.nothing to it, now time for a
