Would like to restore the black portion of my road wheels. Is there a correct black paint that I can use? Thanks

i just used an RM satin black with a hardener, no clear. removed the paint, polished them up, masked them off and sprayed them with a gun.

I did this many years ago and got spraypaint from Totally Auto Inc. Looks great.

I have as set of road wheels that I want to freshen up for my current project. I have the black paint for the inserts and the front lip of the wheel has an industrial gray appearance. Does anyone know if the rear inner portion of the wheel was painted or bare? If it was painted, what color?

On the early wheels the "hoop" was black, if you are doing a set for your Aspen they may be gray. On the black "hoop" wheels there is a tape/mask line ~1/4" onto the plated center both front & back.

Is it as simple as 5.5" wide = BLACK & 6.0" wide = GRAY

I have Rallyes on the R/T. These are for my Volare Road Runner project. Your probably right on track with the gray. I removed the tires and the surface is also industrial gray looking. The back side is just hard to tell from all the rust and grease/grime.
