Where does the black behind grille start & stop ? 69 RR - 04/28/10 06:57 PM

I am working on a red 69 road runner. Can someone show me a picture of where the black paint behind the grille should start and stop? Does the area behind the headlight bezels get blacked out too?
I know it is not an original car but some things look better done in a factory manor.

I've said it before, I'll say it again. Have a few beers and have at it with a Krylon can! The originals looked like they were done by a one armed crack monkey. No consistency and different from car to car.

Absolutely and they left a lot of runs too! All the way from one end to the other........

I have a 68, but didn't know they are the same,and it has been repainted.

This was how I did my 68 Road Runner. I painted what was "intended" with the blackout and not what was "actually" painted by the infamous one-arm painter...
