Cold Storage

Do any of you snowbelt guys store your car in an unheated garage? Run into any problems?

Yep, used to rent a local bay at the public storage facility. Just made sure the anti-freeze was good to go and tucked it away

This is what I do, and I've never had a problem.

Little oil down each cylinder after car is put away.

Put the car up on jackstands (just personal preference)

Check out the anti-freeze. Make sure it is alright for bad temps.

I take some plastic tupperware boxes with the top open and fill them with charcoal. I place one in each floor pan, passenger, driver, both rear sides in the Chally. And one on each seat. This absorbs moisture and makes sure that no mold buildup over the winter.

I also have a good car cover, but I wash the car and give it a coat of wax before I put it away.

I have one of those cheap plastic tarps under it, just to catch whatever fluids work their way out.

I've never had a problem in the past few years with any of my cars.
