Got the Cuda home 73 340 4 speed.. UPDATE PIX - 03/29/10 02:13 AM

Thanks Guys. Its not a Numbers 340, but it is a 73, And I have a steel crank, and Am gonna make it an internal ballenced engine. Thinking We are gonna paint it Either Black with White interior, and a red hockey stripe. Or Purple with black interior, and a black stripe.

Ill get pictures, and post them.

Cool, so its not a factory white interior car, and I still dont know what gears its supposed to have, And I must be a stripe delete car.

My guess is it should have the 3:55 gears at least that is what mine has. It is also a 340 4 speed

Yeah Thats the plan is 3.55:1. I dont think the 3.91 would be good for a driver.

Here are a few pictures Of the "PROJECT"

Again its a project, Ill take more of them, But we Got duplicate on everything but the body, and the 340.

2 perfect dashes/clusters. 4 doors, 2 perfect, 2 really good. 4 penders, 2 hoods, new quarters on the car, and a pair of NEW full quarters.

Im pretty excited to get her done.

Yep We got a ton of stuff. Really clean car, minor rust, Needs a drivers rocker, etc..

I checked some of my 73 Barracuda / 'Cuda info. It says a 73 with a 340 & a 4 speed came standard with 3.23 gears and No Sure Grip.

Optional is 3.23 with Sure Grip, & also optional is 3.55 with Sure Grip. (3.91 not available in 73)

This has a 3.23 sure grip, but its shot, I have another 489 sure grip we are going to put 3.55 in it.

Started to fab up the rotisery for it tonite. Dad in law sujested using ol wheel bearing hubs, I said NO, dont want it moving that easy. NO BRAKES...

Has new front half floor pan, new inner fenders, has new quarter sking on it, but they suck, getting new full quarters shortly.
