I remember a post on here where some vendors weren't selling items the correct length, etc. Can you guys let me know who sells the most accurate looking and correct fitting items?

We are a distributor for Fine Lines. They have parking brake cable kits. I've sold several with no complaints. I'm sure the guys on the board here can give more info about how accurate they are or are not.

My originals looked like hell so I zip-tied them in a loop and tossed them in a plastic bucket filled with about an inch of Evaporust. I took them out a day later and they looked like new.

Neil, Curious...did you coat them with something when you were done to keep them from rusting again?

But I dug up an old thread with the info I hope I need , hopefully they make these cables for lowly A bodies .

I wiped them down realy good with ppg dx metal conditioner so surface rust won't grow on them while they sit on the shelf. I'm thinking that maybe wiping them down with a light coat of motor oil or something like once they are installed might help keep them from getting rusty. I guess you could lightly paint them too.

That wet graphite spray seems to work good at protecting raw metal as well.

I'm one of the millions of LAZY people that DEMAND the info be at my finger tips while I'm sporting only tighty whiteys and eating hostess twinkees and chocolate covered donuts .

Eric that was sorted out. The issue was with the 71 and up style. I sent my original in for them to duplicate and they are now the correct length.
