Is it true that in 71 the Hemi engine could've had electronic ignition? when did they start doing this?

a saginaw power steering available then? I've heard this rumour before but have yet to get it verified.

The 2 engines avalable in 71 with electronic ignition were the 340 and 426 HEMI
