From page four.....

"We personally know of two six barrel Mopars whose quarter mile capability was improved by 9 MPH and a full second from these simple alterations. When was the last time somebody offered you means for a one second chop for $1.83?"

"Ralph Johnson willing tackled the problem on Vic Edelbrock's personal Dodge Six Pack"

Wasn't that car discussed here when it went up for sale??

Wonder if it still has these mods?

I think a lot of original carbs were messed up because of that article. If the original A12's went 13.0's that means you could do a 12.0 after following the article?

FWIW, another no-buck performance tweak is to index the distributor.

Indexing the distributor means to tweak it so when the reluctor and the magnet in the distrubutor are aligned to fire the spark, the rotor is pointing at the terminal in the cap. Every one of the new MP electronic dists I've seen was off. The same principle would apply for a points distributor too.

It really does make a difference

I used to have a write up with more details, not sure if I can find it again though. If I do I'll post the link.
