Thanks Kyle. A12 was an option code for the 1970 Hurst 300 also, but in the case of part of this Moparts forum (and a particular person's screen name ) it was a Spring of '69 option package for the '69 Super Bee and Road Runner that include a 440, 3-2 barrel Holley's, Edelbrock aluminum intake, 4.10 Dana, fiberglass (no hood hinges) "Lift-Off-Hood", 15" black steel wheels (no other wheel option available) with chrome lug nuts. No A/C, cruise control, trailer tow available either...... read more by clicking here and clicking (((here))) (all of the option codes)

a shade under $4000.00 but the best part is opening the door for the first time ,that new car smell.cruising up and down a packed Daytona beach every weekend. yes those were the days.
now all you younger guys have to look forward to is high prices and the smell of when you open the doors.

A-12 means that your into date coded, nos, correct, details, far worse than any Corvette owner could ever dream of being, which is`t a bad thing. A-12, m-code, 69 1/2, h-wheels, oe bathtub aircleaner bases/lids, 054 radiators, fiberglass lift-off hoods, all = mega $$$ I`m not too old to remember when those cars were all about racing, fun, and wrenching. Today they have become so valuable that most lead pampered lives.

I did say most, meaning not all. I love seeing these cars driven hard and shown no mercy like they were intended to be.

Good think I like the smell of Bondo! I'm building a center console for my dakota using fiberglass resin and foam, finishing it off with bondo since it's easier to sand...and that stuff smells good!

I'm not going to restore mine for that reason, so I'm not affraid to drive it around. I'm building a nasty motor for mine and plan on driving it every where .
