SS Seat Brackets? What is correct?

I've seen so many different seat brackets made by so many different people and now, after I've installed the brackets on my A-100 seats, I'm thinking they're not right despite them being labeled by the guy I got them from?!

Yes, I know the car isn't a '65 and yes, I know 63's never came that way but I want to make sure that stuff is going together at least halfway close to the way the factory planned it!

Every supposedly original pair that I see keeps having the brackets with the long part on the bottom and short on the top?!
