'70 Duster/A Body Rocker Panel Question - 08/30/09 09:47 PM

Is there normally a seam in the metal on the lower rocker panels on a '70 Duster? It lines up about the same area as the back edge of the door?Or if there is,it it normally "filled" in? Thanks for any info!

Yes there is a seam there.

It's the section where the 1/4 skin and rocker come together. The 1/4 wraps all the way under the rocker.

The factory used lead over those seams so you should not be able to see a visable joint.

No seam but the factory lead job is quite noticeable however.
