69 charger console shift plate?

anyone know what goes in the automatic shift console plate so you cannot see down inside to the shift linkage? i never had mine so dont know. thanks

There is a black plastic strip with a hole for the shifter handle to fit through. The plastic stripfits into a channel on the bottom side of the console plate. These are available aftermarket through be&a and other places.
