E body battery cable question

E body battery cable question - 07/01/08 12:59 PM

I need new battery cables for my 340 cuda. I can get chrysler PN 2983649 from Mancini but its says its a Positive battery cable for a B-RB engine.

What's the difference between a B-RB engine positive battery cable and a SB positive battery cable. Wouldn't they be the same length and look similar? Im not concerned about being exact here.

Also, they sell PN 2983778 for the negative batery cable. I assume that is for all engines.

The only difference between an E-body big block cable and an E-body small block cable is the length, the small block cable is about 5-6 inches longer than the big block version, otherwise, they are the same.

im not too concerned with the cables looking like the originals. I just need good canbles that will work

will the B-RB cables be long enough to hook up or am I going to need to spend $100 on a battery cable?
