There is a set is the parts section here and year one lists them also.

Sorry must have been in May parts. Year One lists them part # ff426p side scoop & bezel set $212. The ones that were listed here were like $350 they were reop's also but were listed as "like orgs"

I was going to ask about those but lost the ad. maybe tom or a mod can look them up?

The only repop set I've seen were TERRIBLE!!! Not sure who the manufacturer was (I think they came from Y1) I'd spend the bucks, and buy originals-

I make the repro's that are advertised here in the part section. I've been making these for years, and they've gotten glowing reviews from everyone who has seen them, including some of the the Mopar magazines. I've sent you a PM with details. I'll be glad to help you if I can.

No they are not. The Y1 scoops are fiberglass single sided molded, These are polymer plastic molded like the originals. I sell my scoops directly via Moparts and occassionally Ebay. These were the first repro scoops that were available, I've been making them for about 5 years now. Thanks.

Here's a pic someone sent me of the backside of the scoops Y1 sells that Kirby referenced in his post. As you can see, they are completely different from mine.

I just received my scoops from 383 Bee, Glen, and they are perfect.
I highly recommend Glen & his scoops. The best available and well worth the $$, by far.

Thanks for the good words, and for the info on the other site, Dave. I wasn't aware of 'Lift Off Hood community online. I guess once I found Moparts to help me with my mopar addiction, I never looked around for anything else...

Sorry, I don't have any pics with bezel's fitted. I can promise you though, that both the OEM bezels and the excellent repops carried by many of the mopar restoration retailers fit perfectly.

Glen- the El'Cheepo's you posted were the ones I had seen before- not yours. Yours look great!!! On the other ones- the bezel would not even fit, and the studs are not even close to being in the right place. Sorry if you thought I was referencing your scoops- Kirby

No problem, Kirby - no offense taken. I knew what scoops you were referencing in your post. I once had a guy flame me really hard in an email, telling me I was ripping off the mopar community charging the price I was for my scoops. I tried to explain the amount of work and expense I put into making perfect copies, but he said he could make fiberglass copies for a fraction of what I charge - I guess he went ahead and did it!

Just saw the scoops from Bent Rod garage at Carlisle. They looked great, nice finish and heavy weight. I have a set on my Coronet that I bought about 3 years ago from someone else, not sure who. But mine are definitely not as heavy. The set I have were made of something which was slightly soft; and took up a slight ripple to it where I pulled one of the studs a little too snug. Ripple has not gone away in 2+ years despite loosening up all the studs immediately to let it relax. This looks like it would not happen with the set from BentRod.
