hey gang.. well i just had my front and rear bumpers rechromed for my 70 charger and they look nice, but now my vent/wing windows need some help. their orginal 30+ year old parts and i would like to get them rechromed. With new paint and all they will deff look bad. they do have some slights pits, but i am going to send the best set i have off to the chromers. My questiuon is where did ya guys send yours off to and how much did they cost?? also, any tricks on taking these things apart?? looks like imm going to have to grind down some rivets, and tap parts for some small screws.

You answered your own question,....I had mine done by Nu-Chrome in Fall river Mass,...they also do mail order out of state work,.....specialize in 50-70's cars,....I dissasembled everything, gave them the best pcs, including the lock handles, basically every thing associated with the vent window that needed chrome,...cost $600 bucks for a pair

The channels (whatever you call them, the big part) cost me $65 each and came out great. $35 each for the parts that the glass glues onto. The chrome work for that area can be done well for around $200. Here's the place that did mine:
