Where to buy lock set for my 62 Savoy? - 06/20/08 08:06 PM
Where is the best place to buy a set of door/ignition and trunk locks? I have originals, but no key for the trunk and one of the door locks needs work (key won't go all the way in). Would it be easier to have a locksmith sort it out, or is there someplace I can buy a complete set and be done with it?
Thanks!

They are available new on ebay.
A locksmith can sort it out, but I hve no idea what they would charge you.

Do not buy them from Jesser Key, they'll stick it to you (say, $250) and what you'll get will fall apart because they're old cylinders, restaked & recapped, even though they're represented as NOS.
Some '62 stuff is 1-year-only, but I'm not sure about the locks.

Check with Joe Suchy he has what you need.
I don't have his phone number handy, someone chime in with Joe's number.
