Remove the old covers first...and leave the new ones out in the sun for a while to soften them up, and make them easier to install

Make sure you reuse the wires that are hog ringed to the frame to pull down your pleats. If they are real rusty- I sometimes just reproduce them with coat hanger wire. Without these- your covers will look like crap. Loose saggy etc. Are your seat foams in good shape? If not you can add padding, which is easy to do- but hard to make look perfect without some experimentation/experience. Buying the new foams is a wise move in my opinion. Kirby

I bought new foam for my 71
bucket seats and it appears to puffy on the
back side area around the seat plastic back.
Even more so above the plastic seat back.
Covers are tight but possibly should have reused
the old foam on backs.
