Correct head lights on B body - 11/02/23 11:33 PM

Specifically 1968 Coronet rt conv
And 1970 Superbird.

Buddy of mine is looking to replace headlights and get something closer to OE than
He currently has.

So....what's the masses say.
GE . Or Westinghouse bulbs.

Not after date correct Yada Yada stuff. Just reasonably close

And if he wants to at least get something closer than the mismatched ones currently in the cars

the '68 should be GE with "wide flute" lens - the Superbird should be "wide flute" but I think there is some discussion GE VS Westinghouse (as bulbs were sourced from parts warehouse VS assembly line ?????? )

All of my original '68-'69 B bodies - about 16 IIRC including the Chargers - had "GENERAL ELECTRIC" on the bottoms of the lenses and wide flutes.

I still have a bunch of high beams - used to grab 'em at Pick A Part - but have used up all my low beams.

Last I saw, the low beams were $50-$100 on Ebay.

I have NOS GE sets. PM if interested. Have perfectly dated set for a Super Bird.

The Bird is one of the 1st ones built if that would make a difference.

I had told him I thought they were GE. in both cars

He has a stock pile of NOS bulbs in both manufacturers. I have serious doubts he plans to worry about dates.

He has a bad bulb in one car and wants to at least make them all match instead of the hodgepodge combination of whats in them now.
